Mountains are nature’s crown – they give us fresh air, clean water, and breathtaking beauty. Sadly, these natural treasures are under threat because of increasing plastic waste, litter, and irresponsible tourism. To protect them, Divriti Foundation has taken an active step by organizing mountain cleaning drives.
Why Mountain Cleaning Matters
- Protecting Nature’s Beauty
Waste and plastic scattered on mountains not only spoil the view but also harm the environment. Cleaning restores their natural charm. - Saving Wildlife
Many animals and birds living in mountain areas suffer due to plastic and other waste. Removing litter helps protect their natural habitat. - Ensuring Clean Water Sources
Mountains are the source of rivers and streams. Keeping them clean ensures safe and pure water for millions of people downstream.
Our Initiative
At Divriti Foundation, we bring together volunteers, nature lovers, and local communities to participate in mountain cleaning programs. Armed with gloves, bags, and determination, our team collects plastic, bottles, and other non-biodegradable waste from trails and camping sites.
We also spread awareness among trekkers, tourists, and locals about:
- Reducing single-use plastic.
- Carrying back waste after trips.
- Adopting eco-friendly travel habits.
How You Can Join Us
- Volunteer: Be part of our mountain cleaning drives.
- Adopt Green Habits: Carry reusable bottles, bags, and avoid littering.
- Support the Cause: Donate resources like gloves, sacks, or transportation for waste collection.
